When you take a look at the current state of the USA & Canada regarding the COVID pandemic, you start to ask yourself many questions. As i look outside the box and just pay attention to human nature right now, i find it quite comical. When this pandemic first started, people all over flooded the stores and bought toilet paper. I mean sure buy up all the toilet paper and be prepared but while I’m buying up canned goods and foods I’m laughing at the whole situation go down. Fast forward a year and still people are out shopping for nothing and no precautions taken other than a mask. I juggle apples at WalMart on isle 3 from monday to friday hahaha. But let’s be serious for a minute here. Why is it that we just can’t all allow the government to do a true in home lock down like New Zealand did? They rid themselves of COVID while the rest of us whined and complained, protested and rallied preaching violations of liberties! Yet in reality we could all just suck it up and maybe do what’s right if this COVID thing is as bad as they say it is. I’m skeptical 100%. You got the governments in Canada along with their state funded media conglomerates fear mongering the public 10 to 20 times a day on social media and hard focus on the infection rate with no focus on the recovery rates. I’ll admit it’s sad people have died from all this. On the other hand look at the stats and see that it targeted older people with underlying medical conditions which sped up their meeting with death. I’ve researched a lot of stats regarding the flu and checked for comparisons over a 10 year span and included unknown flu related stats too. For me I’ve come to the conclusion that COVID19 is a super flu which most likely 99% of the world will get it. 1% however will die. The common flu kills 3/4’s of 1% of total cases worldwide each year. Compare them both and it’s easily there to see that this is the very 1st case reported as a super flu. In the unknown cases from the previous 10 years, those cases resembled COVID/SARS symptoms and how triage handled those cases prevented serious outbreaks by a fluke. COVID19 is no fluke though. It’s real and those who run conspiracy theories or want to defy rules should take heed. I strongly support a full in home lockdown in Canada simply for 2 reasons. 1 we can actually say we tried it and hopefully it brings a good outcome. and 2. I truly believe it’s the only way to rid this thing. IF it fails, we can’t say we didn’t try. The problem right now is people resisting this idea simply because they believe it violates freedoms and liberties. Sometimes we all need to make small sacrifices for the greater good. Until people can look within themselves and search for their humanity, human ignorance will dominate human life and cost lives in the end. The ONLY way to stop COVID19 in Canada and the USA is to do full lockdowns in home. Use the military and emergency services to deliver food and supplies to each home or drop off locations. It’s not rocket science. This is the time to allow our humanity shine.
